Gulliver received a darling little house for Christmas from Grandpa and Grandma Theresa. He loved sitting and climbing all over the cardboard box it came in before we even opened it. Well, yesterday we finally set it up while on the web cam with Grandpa and now it's even more fun! Gulliver loves crawling in and out and all around. He quickly figured out how to crawl out via the window as well as through the door. Hopefully the casa lasts long enough for him to artistically decorate it with his own personal touch!

Just Another Week...
Gulliver throws so many new things at us these days, I can hardly keep track of them all.
He has started stacking blocks on top of one another. He walks using his "walker wagon" to lead the way. One of Gulliver's new favorite activities is sitting at his table. We sit at his table and roll the truck back and forth to one another (oh, and did I mention he really loves trucks now?) or build blocks and knock them down. It's all good until he decides it is time to stand up in the chair, and then is told "no." Then it's tantrum time. He loves, loves, loves, to crawl into the dogs' beds - whether they are laying down in them or not. And he still loves being outside. While he typically isn't very interested when the TV is on, his eyes become glued to the screen if golf is on. He has a new habit of "placing" things - he'll take a ball and place it somewhere just so. Then he steps back to take a look, rearranges if necessary, and goes to the next item. The other day he took all 8 cups - one at a time - from one side of the room and lined them up under his changing table. He's super fast at climbing up the stairs now (we're still working on how to come back down). He can give you a "Hi-5." And perhaps my favorite - he points to the mouse when we read "Goodnight Moon." And tonight before bed, he pointed to the stars, too.
Just a small glimpse into another week in the life of our little Gulliver.

Winter
Dad joined the fun and headed out with us this weekend for some cross-country skiing. It was overcast, but still a great day nevertheless. We live in such an amazing place! The dogs had a ball running around in the snow, as usual. Gulliver is a natural in his little Chariot and sits back to enjoy the ride. I often wonder what is going on in his head when we venture out on our little rides?!?!?
Gulliver is officially on cow's milk now. We started giving him one bottle a day and then gradually increased it. He didn't miss a beat. Gulps it down just as heartily as formula or breast milk. But he does love his milk!

Happy (Belated) New Year!
It's been awhile since I posted. No particular reason, just taking a break. Gulliver continues to grow into a delightful little boy. He has started walking with the assistance of his walking wagon. He discovers new things to do with toys on almost a daily basis. He now puts toys back into a container or bucket after removing them; he has learned to push a button to make a sound; he is starting to roll / throw the ball; he loves chasing trains all around the floor or trying to push them on his own; and he rides his little starter "bike" while being pushed by mom or dad. He loves to play peek-a-boo. And cracks up with dad's tickles. He likes to bang his head on things, like the hard wood floor, so at times he'll have a bruise right in the middle of his forehead. He got another round of vaccinations this month and had no after-effects whatsoever.
